现在，这个补贴在元旦前取消了，而从今年4月1日起，电动车和插电混动车也要开始缴道路使用费（RUC）了。

电动车和插电混动都要缴
交通部长Simeon Brown今天宣布，联合政府确认，轻型电动汽车 (EV) 和插电式混合动力车的道路使用费 (RUC) 豁免政策，将从 4 月 1 日起终止。
Brown表示，这是兑现联合政府承诺将所有车辆都纳入RUC系统的第一步，这关乎公平与公正，车主们都要缴纳汽油税或是基本距离的道路使用费，确保所有道路使用者都要为道路的维护和保养做出贡献，无论是开哪种车。
按照新规定，电动汽车车主将按照每 1000 公里支付 76 刀的道路使用费，这与柴油汽车收费相同。
当预付款时，还要支付12.44刀（在线）或13.71刀（柜台）的管理费。

AA 表示，车主平均每年驾驶12,000 公里，相当于要多缴912刀的道路使用费，这还不包括管理费。

也就是说，从今年4月起，每位电动车主每年要多花费近1000纽币。
值得关注的是，插电式混动车（PHEV)也将按照每1000公里支付53刀的道路使用费，之所以收的费用比电动车低，是因为插电混动还需要一部分的汽油，以免双重收费。
普通的混动车，如Toyota Prius还是不用缴道路使用费的。

电动车保有量已达2%
对于电动车豁免道路使用费，是上一届国家党政府就推出的政策，以鼓励大家买电动车。
去年，工党政府将2024 年 3 月 31 日定为豁免的最后一天。Brown今天表示，他将坚持这一日期，现在目标已经达到。
Brown说，“当电动车占小车数量的 2% 左右时，这项豁免总是会终止，而我们现在就到了这个时候。”
国家党和工党都知道，道路使用费和汽油税每年产生约 40 亿纽币的收入，其中约一半来自后者。
如果电动车越来越多，还豁免道路使用费，政府账本上将出现 20 亿纽币的缺口。
